Wedding invitations are often the first introduction your guests have to your wedding, so you want them to be special. Letterpress has a unique look and feel that is sure to make your wedding stand out in a crowd. I use only the highest quality materials and hand print each piece, one colour at a time on my 100 year old letterpress.
Timing - Letterpress is a time intensive method of printing, so I recommend starting your ordering process at least 3 months before you intend to send your invitations so that we have plenty of time to design and print them with as little stress on everyone as possible!
Step 1) Choose Your Design - Take a look through my ready-made letterpress invitation collection. Note that all designs can be personalized with your choice of fonts, ink colours and wording. If you would like to see a piece (or two) up close, please e-mail or call to request a sample. If you have any questions, or just want to chat about your choices, please don't hesitate to call. Also: I am happy to discuss printing your own design. Please e-mail me a PDF of the design and I will look at it and determine whether it is appropriate for letterpress printing (some things aren't, such as large blocks of solid colour) and send you a custom quote. Prices may vary from those listed on the price list.
Step 2) Contact Us - Once you have chosen an invitation suite that you love, contact us with your names, design choices, date of your wedding and the number of invitations you need. We will respond within 2 business days with a quote. To accept the quote and schedule the job, a 50% deposit is required.
Step 3) Customise and Perfect - Once your deposit is received your first complete proof will be emailed within 3-4 days. Three rounds of revisions are included as part of your package. If you require more, a small fee will be added. A revised proof will be e-mailed to you within 2 business days of receiving your feedback. Once you are happy with the design I will send a final proof that you should check, double-check and triple check (heck, have the whole family check) for spelling errors, date errors, etc. You will need to post (or scan/e-mail) the signed proof back to me. Once you sign off on the final proof, I am not responsible for any factual errors (name, date, time, spelling, etc.) in the final invitation.
Step 4) Receive Your Invitations! - After you sign-off on the final proof I will order the printing plates and print your invitations! Once the invitations are printed I will request final payment, and ship them to you once payment has been received. Please allow 4-6 weeks between final sign-off and receipt of invitations. Rush service is available for an additional fee. If you have any questions, please contact me. I can't wait to help you make your wedding day perfect!
